Interconnection a recording that pays tribute to the classic Bill Evans and Jim Hall recordings of the 1960s: Undercurrent (United Artists) and Intermodulation (Verve). Interconnection is deeply inspired by Hall and Evans as well as other classic jazz duos, such as Nat Cole-Oscar Moore and Chick Corea-Gary Burton. Sneider and Hofmann have created tightly-knit arrangements and ensemble sections to give this recording its beauty and intensity. Both players contribute first-rate writing, instrumental technique, and improvisation to the ten tracks, which include Hofmann’s four-part "Jazz Suite for Guitar and Piano" among six other originals by the artists. The three standards represented are Ellington’s "Mood Indigo," Jobim’s "Desafinado," and George and Ira Gershwin’s "Bidin’ My Time." Bob Blumenthal writes in the liner notes: "The first thing to notice about Interconnection is just how seamlessly Bob Sneider and Paul Hofmann ... connect." SECOND SOLO CD: Bob's latest solo CD is Out of the Darkness . "For my second CD as a leader, I showcase standards and my originals in several different settings (trio, string quartet, bop quintet and duo - with latin percussion). Performing with different ensemble textures, enables me to paint with many colors. All of the great musicians who supported me on this CD bring fresh ideas to playing my tunes and standards (Strayhorn, Duke, Porter, Gershwin and Jobim). Thanks to Sonsofsound Productions, I had the artistic freedom to record excatly what I wanted. Hopefully, there's something for everyone. Enjoy!" The CD also includes a Quicktime® live concert video. It is available online from Sons of Sound where you will also find complete album information.

BOB'S FIRST ALBUM: Introducing Bob Sneider is a blend of original compositions by Bob Sneider and standards. "My debut CD grew out of a few 2 track demo sessions, which captured me in several different group settings. 'SambaGetz' - my tribute to Jobim/Getz and "Swagger" are among my better compositions. I am very proud of my 1st effort as a leader and especially grateful to the fine musicians who backed me up." [complete information]. It is available online from Amazon.com.
